About Our Venue

Art is full of exciting possibilities when the narrow lenses of classical beauty and authority give way to the uncertainty of subjective experience. My work is a recycling and filtration system held together by tenuous media. I embrace my failures and press on. I paint, sculpt, photograph, assemble, print, record sound and experiment with whatever I can. I love to collaborate as well, so please contact me if you are interested.

Garrett's Art Studio is located in the One Center for the arts in Valparaiso Indiana. This historic building was once the home of the Valparaiso Tech Institute and a glass factory at 1150 West Lincolnway

A Variety of Events

If you have a performance that can be constrained to a 20 square foot ledge in my studio then I would love for you to be a part of this ongoing project. You will be required to submit a proposal and perform a dry run of the performance as well. The area available to view the performance would be limited to a few individuals in the room and the performance will become part of a You Tube archive.
